By using Tadhakkur you agree to these terms. The Qur'anic content is not our own work and is attributed to its sources. The subscription is optional — your daily verse and everything you save are always free.
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Tadhakkur mobile application ("the App"), developed and published by SalkaNueve. By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
The Qur'anic verses in this App are not our own work. The Arabic is reproduced in the Uthmani script from Quran.com, and the English is the Saheeh International translation. Every reminder in the App displays its source.
Any translation is a human effort and may contain errors, and mistakes may also occur in how this App presents, selects or groups the content. Whatever is correct here is from Allah; whatever is mistaken is from ourselves and from shaytan.
Please treat this App as a reminder, not as a source of ruling. Return to the Qur'an itself and to people of knowledge for anything you rely on.
If you find an error in the text or in how a verse is presented, please tell us and we will correct it.
Tadhakkur shows one Qur'anic verse each day, lets you browse verses by theme, save them and share them. You may use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Tadhakkur offers an optional premium subscription ("Tadhakkur Premium").
What is free. Your daily verse, everything you save, sharing, the daily notification and the home screen widget are free and always will be. Collections show the first few verses of each theme for free; the subscription opens them in full and adds extra visual themes, a custom reminder time and the focus setting.
Pricing. Tadhakkur Premium is available as a monthly or an annual auto-renewing subscription. Current pricing is displayed in the App, in your local currency, before you purchase.
Billing. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time through your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Price changes. Subscription prices may change from time to time. You will be notified in advance and given the opportunity to cancel before a new price takes effect.
All data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, access or transmit your personal information, and the App works entirely offline. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any backups of your data.
The App's design, code, graphics, layout and branding are the intellectual property of SalkaNueve and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. This does not extend to the Qur'anic text or its translation, which belong to their respective sources as described above.
The Arabic typeface is Amiri Quran, used under the SIL Open Font License.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes in accordance with these terms.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SalkaNueve shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid for the App or any subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You may stop using the App and delete it from your device at any time. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.
If you have an active subscription at the time the App is discontinued, you will not be charged for subsequent billing periods.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
